Cox Automotive Presents 2024 Leader in Sustainability Award to Grubbs Family of Dealerships

Cox Automotive presented its annual Leader in Sustainability Award to Grubbs Family of Dealerships, a fourth-generation dealership group that has been family-owned and operated since 1948 with six locations in Grapevine, Houston and San Antonio, Texas, and one location in Tulsa, Okla. Grubbs dealerships carry a lineup of four brands – Acura, Infiniti, Polestar and Volvo.

Grubbs Family of Dealerships took over several of the automobile dealerships that had been owned by Foundation Auto and clustered in the vicinity of Central Freeway at Jacksboro Highway.

Grubbs has been around for four generations with locations all across Texas and now continuing that with Wichita Falls, President and CEO George Grubbs III said it’s about carrying that family, a brand that has shined for all these years.

“We’re always looking for great stores and the Wichita Falls area is close to DFW where our headquarters are and so these were stores that we’ve been looking at for a while,” Grubbs III said.
